My class: My favorite quote about education is "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." My dream for my students is that they would "learn how to fish", as opposed to me "giving them a fish", which means that I help them learn how to be more in charge of their own learning, so that they eventually don't need me to be in charge of their own learning.

Especially in the area of science, I hope that my students develop curiosity about the world.
