My class: My favorite quote about education is "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." My dream for my students is that they would "learn how to fish", as opposed to me "giving them a fish". This means that I help them learn how to be more in charge of their own learning, so that they eventually don't need me as much.

Especially in the area of science, I hope that my students develop curiosity and wonder about the world.
